The tavern games are provided for entertainment, as-is. Progress and high scores are stored in your own browser and may be lost if you clear site data. Play fair; don't try to break the place.
If you opt into anonymous gameplay statistics (via the cookie banner), the games may report aggregate play events — scores reached, levels cleared, where runs end — to help us improve them. These events carry no personal data and can't identify you; see the Privacy Policy for details. You can switch this off anytime via Cookie Settings in the footer.
No real-money gambling. Any betting, wagering, or casino-style mechanics in the games (for example Dead Man's Dice) use entirely fictional currency with no cash value. Nothing on this site can be wagered, won, or redeemed for real money or prizes.
2. The book & music shops
Our book and music shops are referral handoffs, not stores. You browse here, then complete your purchase on a third-party retailer's site (Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Walmart, Bookshop.org, Apple Music, Spotify, YouTube). We never see or handle your payment details, and your purchase is governed by that retailer's terms, pricing, shipping, and return policies. Prices shown (if any) are the retailer's, not ours.
3. The merch shop
Merch is sold through our zero-upfront partner stores (Fourthwall, Zazzle, Redbubble). The Merch Shop page links you to those stores, where checkout, payment, fulfillment, shipping, and returns are handled entirely by the partner — this website never sees or handles your payment details. Nothing is charged on thebrokentavern.com itself.

5. Acceptable use
Don't misuse the site: no scraping at abusive rates, no attempts to disrupt the games or other visitors, no impersonating the author. We reserve the right to block abusive traffic.
